Local education services company, Gledus, uses long-distance communication to continue to achieve fantastic milestones in China striking Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with major Education Institutions in Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, including the highly ranked Affiliated High School of Peking University.

 

Working with major Universities such as Tsinghua, Gledus, accredited by the British Accreditation Council, is piloting blockchain based solutions focused on delivering tech education to students over China. Henry Hargreaves, Managing Director of Gledus and winner of “Most Inspiring Young Person of the Year” at the BIBAs insists, “Even amongst developed countries, there is an emerging digital skills gap,”.

 

Huge opportunities await those who are persistent in the pursuit of business opportunities in China, “demonstrating patience, willingness to adapt and cultural appreciation will enable businesses from the North to stand out amongst others”. However, in light of the Covid-19 epidemic Henry emphasises the importance of “remaining vigilant and putting safety first”.

 

Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of North and West Lancashire Chamber of Commerce says, “This is a great initiative by Henry and Gledus. We all recognise the importance of remaining positive and persistent in the face of adversity and totally support what Henry is doing to push exports from the North West.”
